Episode 6 of The Common Table: Leading with Activism and the Arts with Tara Santos

Tara Santos has just finished studying at the New School in New York City. She is keen and eager to continue her personal activism on eradicating plastic pollution through looking at systems of colonialism, capitalism and classism. Tara is the National Coordinator for Extinction Rebellion PH. Extinction  Rebellion is a "decentralised, international and politically non-partisan movement using non-violent direct action and civil disobedience to persuade governments to act justly on the Climate and Ecological Emergency."

In this episode, Tara and I share our personal reflections with our relationship to climate fear and frustration as we deep deeper in the climate crises. We tackle questions about what it means to be a good activist and if that even exists!

The Common Table is a podcast by For The Common Green. We aim to give a microphone to the defenders of the planet, from academics, activists to community representatives! On a mission to protect stories, seek the truth and welcome all to share their position, perspective and plead. With a vision of an inclusive, curious, truth-seeking people and planet.
